4-Vehicle Collision on Asher in LR Proves Fatal
63-year-old Aldo V. Fonticiella (El Dorado, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Sunday, February 7, 2021.
At approximately 2:11 p.m. Mr. Fonticiella was traveling west on Highway 82 E. As Mr. Fonticiella’s vehicle (2001 Lexus LS) attempted to pass a westbound vehicle (2016 Chevrolet Malibu) the vehicle lost control. Mr. Fonticiella’s front right bumper struck the rear driver side of the Chevrolet vehicle. Both vehicles left the roadway.
18-year-old Harlie M. Ballard (El Dorado, AR), 53-year-old Donna P. Ballard (El Dorado, AR), and 77-year-old Cora C. Parks (El Dorado, AR) were traveling in the Chevrolet vehicle. All sustained injuries. Those injured were transported to South Arkansas Medical Center.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
