Head-on Collision Near Gamaliel, AR Proves Fatal

39-year-old Zackery Johnston (Gamaliel, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Monday, April 20, 2026.

At approximately 2:03 p.m., Mr. Zackery Johnston was traveling south on State Highway 101 when his vehicle (1999 Isuzu) crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a northbound vehicle (2019 Jeep). The accident occurred near Gamaliel, Arkansas. Mr. Johnston sustained fatal injuries in the accident.

Additionally, 44-year-old Emily Noblin (West Plains, AR) was driving the northbound vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision.

Those injured were transported to Cox South Medical Center.
