Two 18-Wheelers Collide in Fatal Wreck on Hwy 70

58-year-old David J. Crum (Havana, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

At approximately 7:10 a.m. Mr. David Crum was traveling east on Highway 70 in Pike County when his 18-wheeler (2021 Peterbilt) crossed the centerline while navigating a curve. Mr. Crum’s truck collided with the front of a westbound 18-wheeler (2010 Kenworth) in the westbound lane of traffic.

Mr. Crum sustained fatal injuries in the accident.

49-year-old Charles D. Willis (Amity, AR) was driving the westbound 18-wheeler and was transported with injury to CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs.
