Madison County Collision Claims 1 Life, Injures 3

44-year-old Robin Jerkins (Huntsville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m. Ms. Robin Jerkins was traveling east on State Highway 12 in Madison County when her vehicle (2007 Toyota Corolla) veered into westbound traffic. Ms. Jerkins’ vehicle collided with the trailer of a westbound vehicle (2016 GMC Sierra). The impact disabled the Toyota’s steering and directed the vehicle into the path of a second westbound vehicle (2022 Ford F350). Ms. Jerkins’ vehicle collided with the Ford vehicle before coming to a final rest. An unidentified minor passenger traveling in Ms. Jerkins’ vehicle sustained injuries and was transported to Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

The driver and a passenger traveling in the Ford vehicle sustained injuries in the accident. 57-year-old Jason Robertson (Springdale, AR) and 41-year-old Brit Sumter (Prairie Grove, AR) were injured. Those injured were transported to Washington Regional Medical Center.
