Car Wreck Near Saratoga Claims Texarkana Man's Life

67-year-old Walter Rivers (Texarkana, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Tuesday, January 3, 2022.

At approximately 1:20 p.m. Mr. Walter Rivers was a passenger in a vehicle (2008 Ford F250) traveling north on A.R. 355 near Saratoga. Mr. Rivers’ vehicle lost control causing the vehicle to roll over. Mr. Rivers sustained fatal injuries in the accident.

An additional passenger, 63-year-old Sam Sims (Texarkana, AR) also sustained injuries in the accident. Mr. Sims was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Hot Springs.
