Head-on Collision Near Wynne Proves Fatal
61-year-old April Fanning (Siloam Springs, AR) and 59-year-old Alan Fanning (Siloam Springs, AR) were both fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Tuesday, February 9, 2021.
At approximately 7:10 p.m. they were both traveling east on AR 16 in Benton County when their vehicle lost control in icy conditions on the Illinois River Bridge. Their vehicle (2005 Lincoln Towncar) spun counter-clockwise and crossed the centerline colliding with a westbound vehicle (2020 Chevrolet Silverado).
Road conditions were icy at the time of the accident.
