72-year-old Charles B. Gates (North Little Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
At approximately 6:07 p.m. Mr. Gates was traveling east on State Highway 60 near Perryville when his motorcycle (2014 Harley Davidson) crossed the centerline and struck the left side of a westbound vehicle’s trailer (2011 Toyota). Mr. Gates’ motorcycle reentered the eastbound lane of traffic and into the path of a second eastbound motorcycle (1999 Honda). The Honda motorcycle collided with Mr. Gates’ motorcycle.
55-year-old John L. Perry (Mayflower, AR) was driving the eastbound Honda motorcycle. Mr. Perry sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to Conway Regional Hospital.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
