Rainy Fort Smith Wreck Proves Fatal for Barling Driver

36-year-old Joseph William Pearson (Barling, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Monday, September 21, 2020.

At approximately 9:44 p.m. Mr. Pearson was traveling south on Highway 549 when his vehicle left the roadway near Massard Road in Fort Smith before rolling in the median.

Conditions were reportedly rainy and wet.
