Collision with Deer in Grant County Proves Fatal on Thursday

31-year-old Jeremy S. Kumpe (Sheridan, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, June 10, 2021.

At approximately 5:35 a.m. Mr. Kumpe was traveling north on Grant 51 north of Sheridan when his vehicle “swerved left” to avoid a deer in the road. Mr. Kumpe’s vehicle (2003 Hyundai Santa Fe) struck the deer and spun before running off the roadway and overturning. The accident occurred north of Grant 54.
