Unidentified Biker Fatally Injured Near Lake City

An unidentified 63-year-old male was fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, November 8, 2020.

Shortly before 3:00 p.m. he was traveling west on Highway 18 between Jonesboro and Lake City when his motorcycle (2006 Yamaha) was rear-ended by a westbound vehicle (1996 Dodge Charger) causing his motorcycle to lay down and slide onto the shoulder of the roadway.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
