1 Dead, 1 Injured in Fatal Clay County Wreck

46-year-old Robert G. Brewer (Pocahontas, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Friday, September 18, 2020.

At approximately 10:00 a.m. Mr. Brewer was driving north on U.S. Highway 67 just west of Corning when his vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with the forward left trailer dual tires of a southbound 18-wheeler (2012 Kenworth semi-truck).

Passenger, 59-year-old Jimmy W. Clark (Pocahontas, AR) sustained injuries during the collision and was transported to St. Bernard’s Medical Center.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
