Head-on Collision in West Memphis Results in Driver's Death

62-year-old Robert F. Martin (West Memphis, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Thursday, August 1, 2019.

Shortly after 4:00 p.m. Mr. Martin was driving east on West Service Road near the interchange between Interstate 40 and Interstate 55 in West Memphis. Mr. Martin’s vehicle (2002 Ford Taurus) crossed the centerline near 300 West Service Road and struck the front of a westbound vehicle.

45-year-old Dennis J. Mills, Jr. (West Memphis, AR) was driving west on West Service Road when Mr. Martin’s vehicle struck Mr. Mills’ vehicle (2013 Ford Focus) head-on.

Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
