55-year-old William A. Harper (Beebe, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred shortly before 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 13.
At approximately 3:52 p.m. Mr. Harper was traveling east on U.S. Highway 70 in Pulaski County when his vehicle (1999 Ford) hydroplaned and spun counter-clockwise.
48-year-old Shawn Smith (Carlisle, AR) was headed west on Highway 70 when his vehicle (2006 Ford) was struck on the right side by Mr. Harper’s vehicle.
Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
