Mena Car Wreck Proves Fatal

67-year-old Jerry Don Lane (Mena, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place Friday, February 12, 2021.

At approximately 9:45 p.m. Mr. Lane was traveling east on Polk County Road 37 when his vehicle (2003 Dodge Dakota) struck another eastbound vehicle (2008 Ford) while attempting to pass the vehicle. Mr. Lane’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree before catching fire.

The other driver was not injured.

Conditions were reportedly cloudy and dry.
