Fatal Collision on US 79 Near Pine Bluff, AR
Two drivers lost their lives in a deadly crash Sunday afternoon, February 25th. At approximately 4 p.m., a northbound 1998 Mercedes C230 collided with a southbound 2003 Honda Civic as the Civic was turning left on Arkansas Highway 365 in Mayflower.
30-year-old Kurt Peterson, of Conway, was driving the Mercedes, which spun into a ditch and rolled over after the collision.
54-year-old Reginald Riley, of Conway, was driving the Honda, which slid into the southbound lane following the collision.
Both Mr. Peterson and Mr. Riley were fatally injured during the accident. Conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly cloudy and dry.
