Woman Struck on Highway 167 in Cave City
58-year-old Tony Ray Young (Mineral Springs, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Saturday, October 17, 2020.
At approximately 11:34 p.m. Mr. Young was traveling south on Highway 27 in Mineral Springs when a northbound vehicle crossed the centerline and collided head-on with Mr. Young’s vehicle (2013 Dodge Avenger). The northbound vehicle (2018 Hyundai Santa Fe) crossed the centerline before striking a southbound 2016 Kia Optima and then colliding with Mr. Young’s vehicle.
33-year-old Brandi Turner (Lockesburg, AR) sustained injuries during the incident and was transported to Christus St. Michael’s in Texarkana.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
