4-Vehicle Collision on Asher in LR Proves Fatal
59-year-old Terry Blake (Lonsdale, AR) and 51-year-old Rhonda K. Webb (Lonsdale, Arkansas) were both fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
At approximately 6:14 p.m. Mr. Blake and Ms. Webb were traveling east on Highway 70 in Lonsdale when they attempted to turn left onto Highway 128. Their vehicle (1999 Ford Escape) was struck by a westbound vehicle (2008 Dodge Ram). A third vehicle (2007 Chevrolet) stopped on Highway 128 at Highway 70 was struck after the initial collision.
57-year-old James Jackson (Hot Springs, AR), 57-year-old Gilberto S. Benitez (Hot Springs, AR), and 45-year-old Estela I. Benitez (Hot Springs, AR) were all traveling in the westbound vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision. Those injured were transported with injuries to CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs.
