84-year-old Syble McAteer (Rosston, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, June 11, 2021.

At approximately 2:46 p.m. Ms. McAteer was the passenger in a vehicle traveling east on U.S. Highway 278 near Hope. A westbound vehicle (2008 GMC Sierra) crossed the centerline and struck Ms. McAteer’s vehicle (2019 Jeep).

23-year-old Jesse Ryan (North Little Rock, AR) was driving the westbound vehicle. And 35-year-old Faith McAteer (Rosston, AR) was driving Ms. McAteer’s vehicle.

Those involved were transported with injuries to CHI St. Vincent’s Hospital and Saint Michael’s Hospital.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
