A 56-year-old John Doe (Oklahoma City, OK) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Monday, November 25, 2019.
Shortly after 1:30 a.m. John Doe and 37-year-old Harjo Calvin (Oklahoma City, OK) were attempting to push their disabled vehicle (1999 Chevrolet Suburban) off the roadway. Their vehicle had stopped in the outside eastbound lane of Highway 412 (Sunset Avenue) near 64th Street in Springdale. Both pedestrians were struck by an eastbound vehicle (2006 Suzuki XL7) while attempting to push the vehicle.
Mr. Calvin was transported with injuries to nearby Washington Regional Medical Center.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
