31-year-old Shaundra Johnson (Batesville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on September 15, 2024.

At approximately 5:11 p.m. Ms. Shaundra Johnson was traveling north on U.S. 167 in Sharp County between Evening Shade and Cave City. Ms. Johnson’s vehicle (2016 Toyota) crossed the center line and collided head-on with a southbound vehicle (2005 Chevrolet). Ms. Johnson sustained fatal injuries in the collision.

An unidentified minor male passenger in Ms. Johnson’s vehicle sustained injuries in the accident.

Additionally, 34-year-old Colten Boyd (West Plains, Missouri), 30-year-old Emily Boyd (West Plains, MO), and three unidentified minors traveling in the Chevrolet vehicle sustained injuries.

Those injured were transported to White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas.

Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions were wet at the time of the accident.
