Bearden Driver Fatally Injured in Highway 79 Collision

67-year-old Sharon Garlington (Bearden, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

At approximately 9:15 a.m. Ms. Garlington was traveling east on Ouachita 203 when her vehicle (2019 Nissan) entered the intersection with U.S. 79 and collided with a northbound vehicle (2018 Kia). Both vehicles left the roadway following the initial impact.

28-year-old Constance Mancil (Magnolia, AR) was driving the northbound vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision, Ms. Mancil was transported with injuries to Ouachita County Medical Center.
