Pedestrian Struck & Killed on Hwy 71 Near Winslow

32-year-old Shane A. Johnson, Jr. (Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Friday, March 19, 2021.

Shortly after 9:30 p.m. Mr. Johnson “was walking in the southbound lane of travel” of U.S. 71 between Artist Point and Winslow when he was struck by a southbound vehicle (2020 GMC).

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
