25-year-old Laiken Sloan May (El Paso, AR) and 65-year-old Roland Wayne Hogan (Batesville, AR) were both fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, November 10, 2022.

At approximately 2:15 p.m. Ms. May was traveling north on Highway 5 when her vehicle lost control near North Heights. Ms. May’s vehicle (2020 Ford Explorer) struck the guardrail before overcorrecting and entering the southbound lane of traffic. Ms. May’s vehicle collided head-on with Mr. Roland Hogan’s vehicle (2001 Jeep Laredo). Mr. Hogan was traveling south on Highway 5 at the time of the accident.

Mr. Roland Hogan and Ms. Laiken May both sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
