Fatal Collision on US 79 Near Pine Bluff, AR
35-year-old Rocky McDowell (Junction City, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Monday, March 30, 2020.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. Mr. McDowell was traveling northwest on Morning Star Road when he attempted to navigate his vehicle (2001 Dodge Ram) “through water running over the roadway.” After passing through the water Mr. McDowell’s vehicle left the roadway to the right and overturned. The vehicle “was submerged in water at final rest.”
Conditions were rainy and wet at the time of the accident.
