Minor Fatally Injured in Head-on Collision Near Walnut Ridge

Robert Martin (Thayer, MO) and an unidentified minor passenger were fatally injured in an accident on Monday, October 8.

25-year-old Courtney Waddell (Walnut Ridge, AR) and 3 unidentified minor passengers were traveling north on Highway 67 north of Walnut Ridge at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Monday, October 8.

61-year-old Robert Martin (Thayer, MO) was headed south on Highway 67 when his vehicle (2007 Chevrolet) crossed the centerline and struck Ms. Waddell’s vehicle (2011 Chevrolet) head-on.

All three passengers in the 2011 Chevrolet were male. Ms. Waddell and the two other passengers were transported to Lebohners Memphis Medical Center with injuries.
