Everton Driver Fatally Injured in Highway 235 Accident

75-year-old Richard W. Sgarella (Everton, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Thursday, September 17, 2020.

At approximately 4:23 p.m. Mr. Sgarella was traveling north on State Highway 235 when his vehicle left the roadway while navigating an uphill curve near Marion County Road 4018. Mr. Sgarella’s vehicle (1968 Ford Ranger) traveled down an embankment before striking a fence.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
