35-year-old Patrice Barker of Waldon lost her life in a fatal single-vehicle-accident on Arkansas Highway 28 in Scott County on May 27. At 8:31 p.m. Ms. Barker’s 2008 Chevrolet ran off the highway. Ms. Barker’s vehicle was westbound on State Highway 28 and struck an embankment before striking several mailboxes and a barbed wire fence, eventually coming to rest in a nearby pond.
