Greenbrier Man Fatally Injured in Hwy 65 Collision
18-year-old Nathan Charles Butt (Malvern, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, April 1, 2022.
At approximately 9:50 a.m. Mr. Butt was driving east on Highway 270 E in Malvern when a westbound 18-wheeler (2014 Mack) crossed the centerline entering Mr. Butt’s eastbound lane of traffic. The 18-wheeler’s trailer struck Mr. Butt’s vehicle (2001 Jeep).
Additional information indicates that the 18-wheeler was a 16-foot wide oversized load.
18-year-old Dannielle Marie Lane (Malvern, AR) was a passenger in Mr. Butt’s vehicle at the time of the accident. Ms. Lane was transported with injuries to CHI St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
