Sydney Owens Fatally Struck in Fort Smith
27-year-old Monte A. Jackson (Texarkana, TX) was fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
At approximately 5:24 a.m. Mr. Jackson was traveling north on I-49 just north of the Arkansas and Louisiana border when his vehicle (2010 Chrysler 300) struck the rear of a northbound 18-wheeler’s trailer (2009 International). Mr. Jackson’s vehicle lost control following the collision and entered the median before overturning several times.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
