Sydney Owens Fatally Struck in Fort Smith
An unidentified minor passenger was fatally injured in an accident on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
At approximately 7:50 a.m. the minor was a passenger in a vehicle (2004 Chevy Trailblazer) traveling east on U.S. 278 in rural Calhoun County when the vehicle left the roadway before striking a tree.
18-year-old Mi’Corrie Lindsey (Hampton, AR) also sustained injuries in the collision and was transported with injuries to Ouachita County Medical Center.
