24-year-old Mihai Portean (Shoreline, WA) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Thursday, July 4, 2019.
At approximately 3:30 a.m. Mr. Portean pulled onto the eastbound shoulder of Interstate 30 and exited the vehicle (2019 Ford F-350) near mile marker 93. While standing outside the vehicle Mr. Portean was struck by an unknown eastbound vehicle traveling in the outside lane.
Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
