18-Wheeler Wreck in Jonesboro Claims the Life of Landon Furnish

22-year-old Landon Furnish (Jonesboro, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.

At approximately 10:20 p.m. Mr. Furnish was driving north on East Nettleton Avenue in Jonesboro when a 2019 Freightliner tractor-trailer made a left-hand turn onto East Nettleton Avenue in front of Mr. Furnish. Mr. Furnish’s vehicle (2016 Ford F250) struck the rear of the Freightliner’s trailer. The accident occurred near the Love’s Travel Stop at the intersection with East Parker Road.

Conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry.
