40-year-old Melissa Womack (El Dorado, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place Tuesday morning, January 1, 2019.
At approximately 8:40 a.m. a 2010 GMC Acadia traveling south on U.S. Highway 167 in Hampton ran across the northbound lane of traffic and left the highway. The vehicle then traveled approximately 130 feet before striking Ms. Womack with the front left of the vehicle.
Conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry.
