Texarkana Car Accident on Jim Walters Drive Claims Minor's Life

An unidentified male minor was fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

At approximately 5:21 p.m. the unidentified minor was the passenger in a vehicle (2022 Ford Escape) traveling north on Jim Walters Drive in Texarkana. The vehicle failed to navigate a righthand curve and left the roadway at a high rate of speed. The Ford vehicle traveled through a fence before colliding with a parked box trailer.

Both the minor and 18-year-old Marnier K. Greer (Texarkana, AR) were transported to Wadley Hospital in Texarkana where the unidentified minor later succumbed to his injuries.
