Head-on Collision Near Wynne Proves Fatal
39-year-old Kevin C. Morris (Magnolia, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, August 8, 2021.
Shortly before 5:00 p.m. Mr. Morris was the passenger in a vehicle (2014 Ford Expedition) traveling east on Highway 82 when a westbound vehicle collided head-on with Mr. Morris’ vehicle. The westbound vehicle lost control before exiting the roadway and reentering the roadway then striking Mr. Morris’ vehicle.
28-year-old Katie R. Morris (Magnolia, AR) was driving the Ford vehicle and sustained injuries in the accident. 34-year-old Robert D. Gillard (Stamps, AR) and two unidentified minors also sustained injuries in the collision. Those injured were transported to St. Michael’s and Wadley Regional in Texarkana.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
