24-year-old Katelyn Littlejohn (Bald Knob, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Wednesday, January 29, 2020.
Shortly before 10:00 p.m. Ms. Littlejohn was traveling south in the left lane of U.S. Highway 67/167 near Judsonia when her vehicle (2003 Nissan) was struck from behind by a southbound vehicle (2007 Nissan). Ms. Littlejohn’s vehicle was forced across the right lane of traffic and off the roadway.
30-year-old Brittany Merwether (Searcy, AR) and an unidentified female minor were passengers in Ms. Littlejohn’s vehicle at the time of the accident and transported with injuries.
27-year-old Brodrick Handsborough (Rosharon, TX) was traveling in the second vehicle that struck Ms. Littlejohn’s vehicle and was transported with injuries following the wreck. Following the initial collision, Mr. Handsborough’s vehicle left the roadway to the left and struck a cable barrier before coming to a final rest on highway 67.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
