Head-On Collision on Hwy 63 Proves Fatal

53-year-old Michael Wade (Pocahontas, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Monday, February 26, 2024.

At approximately 8:00 a.m. Mr. Michael Wade was traveling south on Highway 63 in Bono when his vehicle (2009 Ford) crossed into the turn lane near Hawkeye Wrecker Sales. Mr. Wade’s vehicle collided head-on with a northbound vehicle (2008 Chevrolet) stopped in the turning lane waiting to turn left.

41-year-old John Miller (Hardy, AR) was driving the northbound vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision.

Mr. Miller’s vehicle was pushed into the northbound lanes of traffic where it was struck by two northbound vehicles. A 2020 Mazda and a 2023 Dodge struck Mr. Miller’s vehicle.

Those injured were transported to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, TN.
