55-year-old Joey Lee Williams (Hot Springs, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Friday, May 3, 2019.

At approximately 5:41 a.m. Mr. Williams was traveling south on Highway 88 (Higdon Ferry Road) on a bicycle. According to the report, Mr. Williams failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of Higdon Ferry Road and Emory Street and was struck by a 1999 Dodge pick-up truck traveling east on Emory Street.

Mr. Williams was transported with fatal injuries to CHI St. Vincent and later pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle was not identified on the report and sustained no injuries.

Conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly cloudy and dry.
