Vehicle Overturns in Wreck near DeWitt, Claiming Driver's Life

69-year-old Jerry C. Fly (DeWitt, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Saturday, January 25, 2020.

At approximately 12:50 p.m. Mr. Fly was driving south on Highway 1 northeast of DeWitt when his vehicle (2019 Chevrolet) left the roadway to the right and struck a culvert before overturning.

Mr. Fly was transported to UAMS before succumbing to his injuries.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
