58-year-old Jerry Cotham (Fountain Hill, AR) and 60-year-old Jeffery Pinson (Longview, AR) were fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
At approximately 3:00 p.m. Mr. Jeffery Pinson was driving west on State Highway 8 in Bradley County. Mr. Jerry Cotham was a passenger in the vehicle. According to the report, Mr. Pinson’s vehicle (1982 Toyota T100) “veered left of the centerline,” while at the same time, an eastbound vehicle (2023 GMC Sierra) also “veered left of the centerline.” The two vehicles collided head-on in the center of Arkansas Highway 8.
Mr. Pinson and Mr. Cotham sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
22-year-old William Meeks (Crossett, AR) and 23-year-old Emily Rayford (Oak Grove, Louisiana) were traveling in the eastbound vehicle and sustained injuries in the crash.
Those injured were transported to Ashley County Medical Center.
