US 412 Collision in Paragould Proves Fatal

55-year-old Jeri Sue Banks (Paragould, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, July 7, 2022.

At approximately 9:06 a.m. Ms. Banks was traveling west on the U.S. 412 Bypass in Paragould when her vehicle attempted to pass another westbound vehicle. Ms. Banks’ vehicle (2000 GMC Sierra) entered eastbound traffic and was struck by an eastbound 18-wheeler. The tractor-trailer (2013 Freightliner) attempted to avoid a collision but was unable to do so, according to the report.

42-year-old Eduardo Trevino (Harlington) was involved in the accident and was transported with injuries to Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.
