Head-on Collision Near Wynne Proves Fatal
44-year-old Jennifer Kelley (Farmington, AR), 40-year-old Stephen J. Kaufmann (Fayetteville, AR), and an unidentified minor were fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
At approximately 7:15 a.m. Ms. Jennifer Kelley, of Farmington, was traveling south on Broyles Street in Farmington. Mr. Stephen Kaufmann was traveling north on Broyles Street when he crossed into the southbound lane of traffic in an attempt to pass another northbound vehicle (2021 Nissan). Mr. Kaufmann’s vehicle (2016 Acura) collided head-on with Ms. Kelley’s vehicle (2017 Chevy) in the southbound lane of traffic.
Ms. Kelley and Mr. Kaufmann both sustained fatal injuries in the collision. An unidentified minor traveling in Mr. Kaufmann’s vehicle also sustained fatal injuries.
An unidentified minor passenger in Ms. Kelley’s vehicle sustained injuries and was transported to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Springdale, AR.
