59-year-old James A. Rotenbury (Russellville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.
Shortly before 10:00 a.m. Mr. Rotenbury was traveling east on Interstate 40 when “an unknown vehicle entered I-40 from the 35-mile marker on-ramp and pulled out in front of [Mr. Rotenbury’s 18-wheeler].” Mr. Rotenbury took corrective action to attempt to avoid a collision with the unknown vehicle. His 18-wheeler (2018 International Harvester) served left and left the roadway before overturning.
Mr. Rotenbury was fatally injured in the accident.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
