Marvell Driver Fatally Injured Near Poplar Grove, AR

68-year-old James Early (Marvell, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, February 13, 2026.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. Mr. James Early was reportedly traveling south in the northbound lane of U.S. Highway 49 near Poplar Grove when his vehicle (2014 Hyundai Elantra) collided head-on with a northbound vehicle (2005 Chevy Tahoe). Mr. Early sustained fatal injuries in the collision.

37-year-old Vincent Boyd (Marvell, Arkansas) was traveling in the northbound Chevy vehicle and sustained injuries. Mr. Boyd was transported to Regional One Medical Center.
