Paragould Man Fatally Injured on Icy Roads in Greene County

34-year-old James Clayton Fears, Jr. (Paragould, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, February 6, 2022.

At approximately 7:09 p.m. Mr. Fears, Jr. was traveling west on State Highway 358 in Greene County when his vehicle (2000 Ford) left the roadway under icy conditions before over-correcting and reentering the highway. Mr. Fears’ vehicle overturned before coming to a final rest.

Weather conditions were clear but road conditions were icy at the time of the accident.
