65-year-old Peggy L. Evans (North Richland Hills, TX) and 55-year-old Jackie L. Evans (North Richland Hills, TX) were both fatally injured in an accident that took place on Friday, March 22, 2019.

At approximately 11:32 a.m. Mr. Evans was driving a 2017 Honda Civic east on Interstate 40 near mile marker 257 in St. Francis County when he attempted to change lanes in front of an eastbound Volvo. The 2018 Volvo vehicle struck the rear of Mr. Evans’ Honda Civic jack-knifing and striking a third vehicle. The third vehicle (2019 Western Star 18-wheeler), after impact, struck the rear of a fourth vehicle (2007 Ford F-150), which in turn, struck the rear of a fifth vehicle (2010 Chevrolet Silverado).

21-year-old Aqhnazarov Aslidden (Brooklyn, NY) and 50-year-old Douglas R. Hanlon (Putnam, CT) were both injured and transported to a nearby medical center. Mr. Aslidden was a passenger in the Volvo and Mr. Hanlon was the driver of the Western Star vehicle.
