Two unidentified minors were fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Sunday, June 16, 2019.

One male and one female passenger were fatally injured after their vehicle overturned on Interstate 40 in St. Francis County. 28-year-old Kanittra Griffin (Stuttgart, AR) was driving east on Interstate 40 when her vehicle (2001 GMC Yukon) crossed the left lane before entering the median, overturning, and striking the cable barrier near mile marker 233.

Three additional female minors were injured in the accident. Those injured in the accident were transported to Regional One/Lebonheur.

Conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry.
