Hoxie Minor Fatally Injured in Bono Collision

An unidentified minor from Hoxie, AR was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, May 22, 2021.

At approximately 8:41 p.m. the minor driver was traveling south on U.S. Highway 63 when his vehicle (Chevrolet Silverado) crossed the center turn lane near County Road 118. The Chevrolet vehicle collided head-on with an 18-wheeler (2015 International) in the outside northbound lane of traffic.

44-year-old Damon Turner (Memphis, TN) was driving the 18-wheeler and was transported with injuries to St. Bernards Medical Center.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
