Head-on Collision with 18-wheeler Takes the Life of Driver on Highway 63

77-year-old Raymond Watson (Independence, Missouri) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.

Shortly after 1:30 p.m. Mr. Watson was driving north on U.S. Highway 63 just south of Hardy when his vehicle crossed the centerline. Mr. Watson’s vehicle (2010 Ford Taurus) collided head-on with an 18-wheeler (2005 Kenworth) traveling south on U.S. Highway 63.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was not listed with injuries according to Arkansas State Police.

Conditions were reportedly cloudy and dry.
