55-year-old Gilbert S. Watkins (Grapevine, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Friday, September 20, 2019.
At approximately 4:45 a.m. Mr. Watkins was traveling east on Highway 46 West in Sheridan when he failed to navigate a left-hand turn near Highway 190 and exited the roadway. Mr. Watkins’ vehicle (2005 Chrysler 300) struck a tree and spun before coming to a rest in a field.
Road conditions were dry at the time of the accident.
